INGREDIENTS
1 kg potatoes
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp butter, unsalted, melted
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp SPICETUB Veggie Master
METHOD
Bring a large pot of water to the boil. Add potatoes and salt and cook until soft, approximately 20-25 minutes. Preheat oven to 200C, drain potatoes and let them dry for 5 minutes. Place potatoes on a baking tray lined with baking paper, then use
a masher or bottom of a glass to squish them. Make sure to keep the potato in one piece. Let them sit and dry for another 5 minutes, this will make them crispier. In a small bowl, add butter, olive oil and SPICETUB Veggie Master. Brush the potatoes with the butter mixture and bake for 45-55 minutes or until deep golden and crispy.
