Healthy Choc Banana Bread

Get ready to indulge guilt-free with this Healthy Choc Banana Bread recipe! This delightful twist on a classic favourite combines the rich goodness of choc chips with the natural sweetness of ripe bananas, all while keeping things wholesome and nutritious. And the secret ingredient? Kirrily's Banana Bread Mix, adding a dash of magic that elevates this treat to a whole new level of deliciousness.

Makes 1 loaf

3 bananas
1 egg
1 cup milk of choice
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup honey
2 cups self raising flour
1 tbsp SPICETUB Banana Bread Mix
1/2 cup chocolate chips


Set aside one banana. Mash the other two bananas with a fork. Mix the banana and all other ingredients (except for the chocolate chips) in a bowl. Add the chocolate chips and gently fold through. Pour into a prepared baking tin. Slice the third banana length wise and place onto the banana bread. Bake at 180C for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through. Let cool and enjoy! TIP: Add your favourite cream cheese icing or enjoy with some ice cream.
