Cinnamon Roll-Ups

Cinnamon Roll-Ups

Combining the warm and comforting taste of cinnamon rolls with a dough like texture from bread, these roll-ups are a delicious twist on a beloved classic. They are giving serious churro vibes! And the secret ingredient that takes them to the next level? Kirrily's Banana Bread Mix, infusing each bite with a burst of flavour and homemade goodness. Using soft and ready to roll bread as the base, these roll-ups are easy to make and perfect for brunch, dessert or a delightful snack any time of day. With a golden crust and a gooey cinnamon cream filling, they are sure to be a hit with family and friends alike.

Makes 8 roll ups

INGREDIENTS
8 slices white bread
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tbsp + 1 tsp SPICETUB Banana Bread Mix
1 egg, whisked
2 tbsp sugar

METHOD

Cut the crusts of the bread slices and roll the bread flat with a rolling pin. Make the cinnamon paste by mixing together the butter, brown sugar and 1/2 tbsp spice mix. Spread some of the paste on each bread slice and gently roll up. Gently toss in the egg wash and fry in a pan until browned slightly. Meanwhile mix the sugar and 1 tsp spice mix to create the cinnamon sugar. Roll the still warm roll ups in the sugar and enjoy!
